Are there any particular themes to your recurring dreams?

What poll question would you ask about dreams?

I don't really have nightmares as such, but I do have anxiety dreams, and dreams which are mildly unpleasant but deeply surreal (I don't want a dream wedding! If I get married, I want my wedding to resemble those that occur in the waking world!).

I say "recurring dreams", it's more dreams with strong similar themes ("I'm back at school for some unknown reason. There's an exam in a couple of week's time and I haven't studied the subject in the last six months - I'd just been goofing off all the time and no-one called me on it") but often the setting and precise sequence of events is different.

I have a similar thing of anxiety dreams, but as they're mostly unpleasant I've categorised as nightmares. Ditto on the recurring dreams, in that they centre around similar topics in similar places, but they aren't identical.

I rarely have nightmares, thankfully.
I do have some places I revisit in my dreams, but not really reoccurring, unlike my childhood dreams

These days I can usually remember one or two dreams when I first wake up, but can hardly ever remember them more tan a few minutes later. Similarly, I don't know if the recurring dreams I used to have are still happening at all.
