What poll question would you ask about karaoke?

I probably wouldn't go out of my way to or specifically go to a dedicated bar and would probably only go as part of group pressure. But as I don't hang out with a group of people as much as I did in the past it would be unlikely.

"somewhere else" in this case being two separate examples of "someone else's home". I nearly ticked the "at home" box in error.

There used to be a Chinese restaurant in Reading outside the hexagon where there was usually karaoke on. Whenever we went to see something we'd see the waiters singing when we came out at close to closing time. It's shut now, which we're sad about as we'd always meant to go in!

It does seem to be a thing for some Chinese restaurants. There's a restaurant near my ex-office in Heathrow which has a system, but it was all in Chinese (seriously) with not many English songs.

A local pub does Curry-oke, but the place looks like a bit of a dive. Best place I went to in the UK was Karaoke Box in Soho, but it really needs a good crowd to make it fun.

Ooh, they've opened a place in Mayfair which looks very nice. A little expensive perhaps, but the travel's probably more expensive.
