Question Mark

For any of my photographer friends out there, I'm looking for some graphics software that does basic image manipulation (crop, resize, canvas size) and has automated photographic tools e.g. colour correction.

As much as I dearly love PaintShopPro XI, it has this very annoying file caching bug (it is trying to cache all my photos, but times out and locks up one of the processor at 100%). I'm tempted to try upgrading, but am annoyed that I need to.

But what else is out there, that's ideally cheap? Is it just Photoshop Elements? Also, is there anything that supports multiple processors?

On my last dive trip one of the keenest underwater photographers was raving about picasa, but I haven't tried it myself.

Yeah, Picasa is good. I would recommend it for what Mark wants.

Thanks! I did try it a while ago and it had some crucial missing function, but I'll give it another spin :-)
