Lu was pretty much dead set on Angelina, but I just don't think it works that well in English.
We've both toyed with the name Amelie before. We both love the film, but Lu also has French grandparents (which is where Angelina came from, the name of her grandmother). It ticks all the boxes for me, in that it's a little different, works in Portuguese, but doesn't have a lot of mileage for being shortened (except to Mel, which means "honey" in Portuguese).
So for the moment this is looking like the favourite, although Lu's Mum made a disapproving face when Lu told her.
In other news...
I is the eBay master! I've put my two printers, my old iPod, and the Sony Vaio laptop on eBay. Here's hoping they sell, otherwise I'll Freecycle them, or give them away to someone on the estate.
I've got a few more bits 'n' bobs I can probably sell, including a radio control transmitter with servos - it appears to be brand new (it's still in the box), but I have no memory of buying it. I have hundreds of old games I could sell as well, but I have no idea if there's a market for those. Stuff that you can't bear to get rid of but need to store is annoying! That includes several thousands CDs, although I've got most MP3'd.
I left neutral feedback on the skeleton suit I bought, as the slightly odd groin stains/marks will not wash out. Neutral feedback was probably being too kind. Time for judicious usage of a permanent black pen.
