Remembered one thing that I meant to mention yesterday: Amélie's chickenpox. So far it seems really light, to the point where we're not even convinced it's chickenpox, even though the GP diagnosed it, and the spots match the description. We don't think there are any spots on her face, although it's a little hard to tell with the odd red mark she has there. None of the spots on her body, which are mostly on her left side, have turned into blisters. Strange.

As far as I remember Amélie slept through the night, but woke at 6am and then was in a strange mood, with whingy crying on and off. I was brain dead, so not 100% sure what was going on.

Dry heaves this morning at home, as I don't have breakfast until I get to work. I'm not sure which is worse, dry heaves or actual vomiting. Also I feel tired out and have a splitting headache. All those same symptoms I had before, with the urticaria.

Interesting. The GP did take one look at it and say "chickenpox". Hopefully she's going to get off lightly!

Does a carrier have it always, or only during an infectious (but under control) stage?

I did wonder if I'd infected her via the Shingles, except that we know there's a lot of kids about who have it at the moment. The latter seems far more likely.
