A couple of cute Amélie things today, before I forget, despite all the madness...

Firstly, while at Mum and Dad's today, Mum gave Amélie some grapes (halved). She wasn't very hungry, so we brought them into the living room. I was lying on my back on the floor at one point, partly through exhaustion I think. Amélie came over with something in each hand. It turned out to be grapes, and she put one in her mouth and one in mine. Not the first time she has offered food, but the timing was cute.

Secondly, when we watch a Brazilian nursery rhyme DVD she has learned (somewhere) to applaud and scream "yay!" at the end of each song. Bemusingly when driving home today I was playing some MP3s, and at the end of each song she was doing the same applauding and yay-ing. I joined in of course.

Bless her! She's learnt to share!

It seems so. Apparently it shows that she's learned to separate herself has her own identity.

Finn offers food when he doesn't want it, in fact he is quite forceful about getting it in our mouths...

Amélie too. She gets quite annoyed if you don't open your mouth to accept it, even if she has chewed it up and spat it out already.
