In public news...

I'm almost reaching the point where I can't be arsed to write this, which is unusual for me. I'll try and keep going though.

Amélie slept through *again* until 6am. I took the early shift until 8am, and then swapped with Lu so I could get some further shut eye. Amélie then had her nap around 10am, and I took the opportunity for more shut eye. Odd really because I went to bed at 9:30pm last night, and slept most of it (despite a brief wake up with restless legs).

I woke up from my mid-morning nap to find my phone balanced on top of Lu's iPad next to me on the bed. I turned on the phone and it said to look at the iPad. On the iPad Lu had written she had gone shopping, LOL.

Amélie woke at 11:30am, and when Lu didn't return by midday I got her lunch. Lu arrived around 12:30pm, laden with bags, albeit mostly full of presents for people (including Christmas presents). They both left after 1pm.

Mum sent me an email to say she was going to bring over more boxes of CDs, so I rang her and asked if they wanted to go out for a walk. She did, and brought Dad along to just after 3pm. I wore my walking boots again, but annoyingly they just started to rub towards the end. This probably means they won't be any good for long walks.

Once they had left, around 5pm, I headed off to Sainsbury's to get some odds 'n' sods. Again it added up to over £50, but I did get some initial bits for the BBQ. Sainsbury's burgers are 2 packs for £5, and always yummy, so I suspect I'll do the main food shop on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

Lu and Amélie were back at 6pm. Initially Amélie fell asleep with a feed, but she woke up again. Then Lu took her upstairs to sleep, but she wouldn't, so now they're both back downstairs having a delayed dinner.

There's a few bits I've got stored up on Sky+, so it will be an evening of TV.

I hope you do continue, I always like reading your posts.

Thanks :-) Will see what the future holds...

Me too. You're one of the few people whose updates lead me to keep checking LJ these days. I wish I could find the motivation to update myself, but even if I did, I hardly ever have much to say!

Thanks. My updates have pretty much become a detailed diary, although I suppose they've always been that.

My drive with LiveJournal was always as a diary, so that probably helps.

is there anything you would like us to bring?

We will have both food and drink (and hopefully not run out!). But feel free to bring something if you want :-)
