I was thinking.

Why is it that people feel the need to insult other people, primarily behind their back.

It suddenly struck me that of course it makes them feel better, because they are unhappy with themselves.

Rather sad really, on both counts.

would writing about someone (which could contain insulting words) to say maybe a "live journal"..... be considered "talking behind someone's back"???--if so, i am totally guilty, but at least i admit that i AM a sad sad person.

It depends :o) In my opinion if the comments are unjustified, or come from nowhere, I don't find that very nice.

unjustified is what you mean by insulting: i gotcha!
Was someone mean to you?

LOL, well yes I had heard someone was being nasty about me behind my back.

I just realised how stupid it was that people do it.

I never do, and couldn't understand why others did.

That's really cool that you are secure enough to not talk about people....i don't think it's a maturity issue like most people say, but it's just total and utter insecurity. You seem like a cool person--that sux they talked nasty about you.

Why thank you ;o)

I just get sick of all the nastiness and cliqueyness of things.

Why can't people just get along!

Rodney King once asked that question and it's because of lack of tolerance...it would be so much easier if the world was perfect, like me (just kidding)
