Actor Foxx defends co-star Cruise. Jamie Foxx argues that Tom Cruise is under the spotlight as "he has never had a fall" therefore the press want to trip him up. Despite this, Foxx's comment that he does "not like not being in a relationship" as an explanation for his relationship with Katie Holmes doesn't do him any favours.
My grandad the Nazi. Having just commented about the Auschwitz documentary, this article struck a chord. A grandson researches the life of his grandad, a member of the SS. It ends with a comment that again struck a chord with what I was thinking when watching the documentary: "If it shows that my grandfather can not only stand aside while bad things happen but actively take part, then it could happen to any of us."

I had great hopes for A Sound of Thunder, but based on the latest trailer it very much looks like it's been turned into a mindless action flick.
Some other trailers are looking a little better though e.g. The Brothers Grimm, Broken Flowers, The Baxter, Pulse (which looks like it's being remade from J-Horror to a USA version), Shopgirl, The New World, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Corpse Bride, Just Live Heaven (albeit a chick flick), Zathura (SF Jumanji), V for Vendetta, MirrorMask, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, The Chumscrubber, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe , Doom (albeit a cliché of a cliché), The Exorcism of Emily Rose , Lord of War, and Grizzly Man.
So it looks like a good few months for film, now I just have to (a) wait for the blighters if (b) they come to the cinema in Brazil. And of course folks, don't trust a
