Hackers get Mac running Windows. Following the introduction of Intel based Macs a competition was setup by a Mac enthusiast to see if hackers could get Windows running on the system. The basic rules were that both OSX and Windows XP must run on the system, without conflcts. The hackers who wish to remain anonymous were able to create a customised version of Windows that ran on an iMac, Mac Mini and MacBook Pro.

I don't see why the third one is in the news. I've been able to run Windows on a Mac since like 6th grade.

I know little about Macs, but I thought this had always been the holy grail of Mac users and never attained until now... partly because of the CPU issue.

Note this isn't running under an emulator, this is a fully working copy of Windows running on Mac hardware.
